Barbecue Grill Cleaning

Before I start, let me discuss some safety tips when cleaning your barbecue grill. Do not clean your grill when it is still hot to avoid burning yourself.

Here are some simple but very helpful cleaning tips for your barbecue grills.

Before using your grill, spray it with non-stick food spray. You can use a non-stick spray that can be bought commercially or use a home-made one. To make your own non-stick spray, combine 1/2 cup of vegetable oil (you can use any type you like) and 2 tablespoons of liquid lecithin (available at health food stores) in a spray bottle. You now have a non-stick spray that works just like the commercial ones.

After cooking, remove the remaining grease and food particles by scrubbing the BBQ Service grill using any wire grill brush. Let the hot grill cool down then crumble the foil into a ball and use it in cleaning your grill.

Remove the ashes that have cooled down from the collector pan at the bottom of the grill. Then wipe off the grease on the walls of the lid as well as the bottom of the grill.

After cleaning the grill, clean the cleaning tools used and store it in a dry and cool place.

These simple tips should keep your barbecue grill working for the entire summer season. The secret here is to clean it after every use. Have fun this summer season!
